Park Model Homes
Park models are temporary homes built on a frame which are most often used in vacation locations. These aren't usually big enough for a primary residence, but are perfect for a get-away with family or friends.
Since park models are designed to be used for long periods of time, they usually include many amenities for comfort and livability. They may look small, but can be well appointed inside.
Park Model Safety
Park models with less than 400 sq. ft. of total living area are covered by the ANSI Standard A119.5, a national safety standard which lists requirements for fire and life safety, construction, electrical and LP gas usage. Park models larger than 400 sq. ft. of total living area are built to the same federal government standard (HUD code) as single section and multi-section manufactured homes. The Federal Manufactured Home Construction Safety Standards specify the design, construction, structural durability, transportability, fire resistance and energy efficiency of these park models. It also defines performance standards for mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems in the home.
Skyline Park Models
Skyline park models offer the same superb quality and premium materials as Skyline's single section and multi-section manufactured homes.
The park model lifestyle is often called destination camping. Park models provide private accommodations typically located within a few hours drive from the owner's primary residence. They are the perfect way to “get away from it all” and enjoy all the benefits a park model has to offer.
